SexyMoxieMama’s Thyme Lemonade

The hot summer days are upon us. Remember the sweet lemonade of our youth? Now, the refreshing taste of lemonade is the perfect summer cooler with a bit of variety using an unconventional herb–thyme.

Available all year round, thyme is an herb from the mint family. It has a light lemon smell and a strong minty taste making it a perfect addition to iced cold lemonade.

  • 12 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice;
  • 8 cups cold water;
  • a few ice cubes;
  • 4 sprig fresh thyme per serving;

  1. Combine the lemon juice, water and ice cubes.
  2. Stir well and serve with the thyme sprig.

You can also add a little bit of spirits to taste for a refreshing summertime cocktail
